A House in the Woods by Inga Moore

A House in the Woods Written and illustrated by Inga Moore c2011 Candlewick Press : Somerville MA

Two pigs are suddenly homeless due to the accidental destruction of their dwellings by two oversize visitors. The friends are in a pickle. Moose has an idea; why not build a house big enough for all of them to share? They will need some help to build just the right place, so contractors are hired, designs approved, and work begins. Everybody pitches in, of course!

Moose makes a call.

This oversize picture book is just the right size to share with a group. The illustrations showing each stage of construction, including meal breaks, are full of comic details and good humor on the job site.
